Grant schemes to increase the participation of representatives from Central Asia and Eastern Europe

As a part of IncoNet EaP and IncoNet CA projects the grant scheme had been designed in a purpose to increase the participation of representatives from Central Asia and Eastern Europe in the informational events of EU with themes focused on priority areas of Horyzont 2020. Programme grant scheme will provide financial support to local researchers of the Eastern Partnership and Central Asia detailed measures aimed at finding partners and other activities related to Horyzont 2020, in the EU countries and partner countries.

These measures are the basis for close contacts, provide an opportunity to find an European consortium for cooperation and to express themselves and their research organizations.
Thematic priorities of the contest are three social challenges, such as: Health, Energy and Climate Change.
Types of activities: meetings for checkout contacts; informational days organized by the European Commission; major international events organized by other European networks collaboration (eg, Network of European companies).
Among the proposed measures are:

- European Corporate events to exchange experiences (http://een.ec.europa.eu/tools/services/EVE/Event/ListEvents)

The contest invites researchers on the foregoing priorities, with scientific degree or at least 3 years of basic research, knowledge of English, some international experience (available international contacts, participation in such events, etc).
Beginners- and women-researchers are especially welcomed to participate. About 6-9 projects with a budget of 2-3 thousand euros are approved in each participating country. Grants cover the financial component researcher participation in seminars, tickets, visa, and cost of participation.

Criteria for evaluating proposals include the scientific benefits of the project, knowledge of English and possibility to participate in national or international networks. Selection of project proposals are realized by local partners with the support and coordination of the coordinator.
